 Inside SoftSpot
Invented by a mom – with moms’ needs in mind!
In a house full of hard flooring, I needed a soft spot to set my baby girl while I was getting dressed, cooking or doing the hundred other things busy moms do during the day. Tired of fussing with bunched up blankets that were neither safe nor neat, I searched for a mat that would do the trick. I wanted something safe, clean and easy to store and transport. When none could be found, this mom became a mom-inventor and developed a product that would work for my family. After numerous prototypes to get the mat just right, the SoftSpot by Wozzy was born. My baby girl turned into a bustling toddler with a little baby brother and through my own use of the SoftSpot, I realized just how practical and multifunctional the SoftSpot was. Not only was it the perfect mat for my baby while around the house or out on the town, but my toddler loved it too for playtime, storytime, nap time or just to relax while watching a show.
Once the SoftSpot was complete, I started to think of a way to make it even better for my kiddos! Though I loved the medical-grade vinyl cover because it is so safe, sanitary and easy to clean, I wanted to give my babies an added sense of coziness. I envisioned a removable, washable slipcover that was made out of super-soft fabric. And so I designed the CoziCover, made out of fabrics just a yummy as your softest baby blanket and chose a variety of fun and trendy styles to fit every décor.
